I Can Eat Planets
Check out Miles Fisher (aka James Fisher ’06) doing you-know-who in Superhero Movie, a turn that has gone viral on the Web and mainstream TV and caused Variety to gush that Miles is “so good maybe the sequel should be Tom Cruise Movie.”
You can see the larger Youtube version here.
A Krok Wedding to remember: Jed & Kate
The Krok-studded wedding of super-tenor Jed Cohen ’99 to Kate Dawson in February 2007 was not only the lead illustrated feature wedding in The New York Times (including several references to the Kroks and a quote from Adam Wolfsdorf ’97) but it merited a web video on the Times site about Jed and Kate's extremely romantic courtship. Read (and view) it here, but grab a hankie. And congrats, Jed!
From the Kroks to the Supremes
Greg Craig ’67 isn’t the only Washington insider with the Kroks on his resume. George Hicks ’99-’00 is one of two — yes, two — Kroks who have been law clerks for Supreme Court Chief Justices. Currently George is clerking for Chief Justice John Roberts ’76. Roberts’s Harvard classmate, Krok über-first-tenor Jim Volling ’76, clerked for Warren Burger back in ’80–’81.
Who says Kroks don’t study?
Many Kroks of the 1990s have chosen medicine as a career, despite often having to go directly from lab to rehearsal on many days during their undergrad years. Among our fine MDs are Glen Bianchi ’94, Andy Kim ’99, Richard Chung ’00, and Perry Wilson ’01.
Mike Mitnick is gorgeous!
Michael Mitnick ’06 and Catherine Zeta Jones (HPT Woman of the Year 2006) take a break from cuddling to pose for this picture.
Catherine clearly knows a good catch. Already an accomplished composer for plays and film, Michael was profiled in this article in the fall 2005 issue of Harvard Magazine. You can learn more by checking out Michael's website. That Brand New Chevy Is Mine!
Yes, that's Alex Schemmer ’04 driving a Chevy and singing a song about it in a commercial that aired during the Superbowl and the Grammys. (View it here — Alex is about 35 seconds in.) He can also be seen on the TV shows "What About Brian" and "Dexter."
