In 1981 Honorary Krokodiloe Leonard Bernstein ’39 penned the song "Screwed On Wrong" for the Krokodiloes.

Although the topic is rarely discussed in polite New Haven circles, it is generally acknowledged that the "Whiffenpoof Song" was actually written by (pass the smelling salts, Reginald) a Harvard man, identified on the Whiff website as “one Guy H. Scull, Harvard class of 1898.”
